SAM IS AN ENTIRE song writing-production team…which, coincidentally, has a lead singer, named Samantha Grant. The band members have eclectic tastes which may account for their clever and unusual sounds. Some prefer garbage, dido, and real pop. Then there are the Van Halen to Mozart aficionados. And their production favs include Garbage, Sugar Babes, and Madonna. Samantha and Adam Fox on guitar, bass, and keyboards, worked together in different bands before forming the group with Paddy Martin on guitar and bass and Ciaran McLaughlin on drums. At the start, they all just jammed until Adam finally agreed to record them. He also generated most of their production ideas—giving birth to this new and exciting English band.
