THE DIE WAS
cast when four-year-old Hilary Hughes took the stage to sing in a local biker bar with her dad’s band. Music became her life and her expression. Starting with country music in California, she moved into infatuation with the Beatles, rose to the call of New Wave, and exploded into punk – all by her early teens. Her journey through this musical landscape took her beyond the usual confines of genre. She has crawled into her fertile imagination to create music with an edge. Immersing herself in the gamut of sound from soul-searching to hard-driving, she surrounds herself with musicians who follow her compelling current. Together, they have produced a CD labor of love, simply titled: Hilarie Hughes.
