CLEVE MILTON SPENCE,
born in Jamaica, has been writing and reading his poems in Denmark for ten years. As a writer, inspired by Haile Selassie and Malcolm X, he wrote his first book Coming with the Word. Currently, with his producer, ElBesito, he is working on a new album. ElBesito was born Lars Klit. His original training in classical music led to five operas with music that strikes out from the pack: Where Many Rivers Meet, The Last Virtuoso, Catwalk, Anatomical Opera, and Thoratorium. His operas are infused with a "hybrid-band” sound reminiscent of such rock trios as Cream, Jimi Hendrix. As a producer, he lays down his experiences in almost every genre including Latin, Reggae, and Rock.
